As a Dog Handler, you are responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and comfort of the dogs in our care. Prior experience working with dogs is not necessary, but you must genuinely love dogs, be comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail and be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time.

As a Night Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and comfort of the dogs staying in overnight boarding, securing and maintaining the facility, and providing the Client Service Team with a report on all important matters. You must genuinely love dogs, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols, be able to exercise a significant amount of discretion and independent judgment, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail and be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time.
As a Dog Walker, you are responsible for walking all dogs in a safe and timely manner. You will ensure that each dog receives the proper amount of exercise and that each client receives feedback and a progress report card. You must genuinely love dogs, love spending time outdoors, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols, be able to exercise a significant amount of discretion and independent judgment, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail and be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time.
As a Bather, you are responsible for ensuring that all dogs look and feel their best by providing high quality bathing, brushing and drying, ear and teeth cleanings, and nail trims. You will maintain the grooming room and equipment and provide assistance to the Groomers. Prior dog handling and/or bathing experience is a plus. You must genuinely love dogs, be calm and patient, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols and be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time.
As an Apprentice Groomer, you will work under the direction of a Senior Groomer and learn how to provide high quality grooming services, operate safely according to all company procedures, and communicate with clients directly before and after all services. You must genuinely love dogs, have previous experience as a bather, be comfortable using scissors and clippers, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols and be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs and stand for long periods of time.
As a Groomer, you will perform a full range of grooming services for our clients with very little supervision and support. You will maintain the grooming room and equipment in good working order. You must have a minimum of three (3) years professional grooming experience, possess extraordinary customer service skills, be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time and possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail.
As a Senior Groomer, you will manage, lead and grow a grooming department at one of our locations. You will perform a full range of grooming services for our clients and ensure that all services are completed in a high quality, consistent and safe manner. You must have a minimum of five (5) years professional grooming experience, possess extraordinary customer service skills, be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time and possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail.
As an Apprentice Behavior Counselor, you will work under the direction of a Senior Behavior Counselor and learn how to provide training and behavior services, operate safely according to all company procedures and communicate with clients directly before and after all services. You must genuinely love dogs, have previous dog handling experience, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols and be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs and stand for long periods of time.
As a Behavior Counselor, you will provide training and behavior services to our clients with very little supervision and support from a Senior Behavior Counselor. You will focus on providing the mental stimulations and structure necessary to make a client’s dog a good companion and on improving the client’s relationship their dog. You must have a minimum of one (1) year professional dog training experience, possess extraordinary customer service skills, be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time and possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail.
As a Senior Behavior Counselor, you will manage, lead and grow a training department of one of our locations. You will provide training and behavior services to our clients and lend your expertise to the staff at the location. You must have a minimum of five (5) years professional dog training experience, be CPDT-KA certified, possess extraordinary customer service skills, be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time and possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail
As a Veterinary Technician, you will work under the direction of a licensed veterinarian and take blood and test urine, fecal matter and other biological samples, prep the dogs and treatment room for exams and surgery, assist with vet exams, maintain inventory and medical records and make follow-up calls after exams and surgeries. You must have a minimum of one (1) year experience working in an animal care facility, genuinely love dogs, possess extraordinary customer service skills, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail and be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time.
As a Veterinarian, you are responsible for ensuring that all dogs in our care receive a well-rounded program of wellness and preventative medical care. You will diagnose, prevent and treat a variety of illnesses and diseases, administer tests, observe conditions, perform surgery and prescribe medication and / or therapy. You must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, a current New York State veterinary license, genuinely love dogs, possess extraordinary customer service skills, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail and be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time.
As a Driver, you are responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of all dogs to and from our locations using vehicles equipped with crates and safety belt clips. You must have a minimum of three (3) years professional driving experience in New York City, genuinely love dogs, possess extraordinary customer service skills, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols, be able to exercise a significant amount of discretion and independent judgment, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail, be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time, and adhere to traffic laws.
As a Shift Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising the daily happenings of a location. Prior experience working with dogs is not necessary, but you must genuinely love dogs, be comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs, be able to exercise a significant amount of discretion and independent judgment, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail and be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time.
As an Assistant Manager, you assist in leading a team of associates and maintaining operational and service standards. You will develop meaningful needs based relationships with our clients and provide the highest level of care and service to the dogs in our care. You must have a minimum of three (3) years management experience, possess extraordinary customer service skills, be able to juggle a variety of responsibilities, while balancing competing deadlines, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail, be able to exercise a significant amount of discretion and independent judgment, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols, be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time.
As a Manager, you assist in managing, leading and growing a location, develop meaningful needs based relationships with our clients and provide the highest level of care and service to the dogs in our care. You must have a minimum of five (5) years management experience, possess extraordinary customer service skills, be able to juggle a variety of responsibilities, while balancing competing deadlines, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail, be able to exercise a significant amount of discretion and independent judgment, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols, be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time.
As a General Manager, you are responsible for managing, leading and growing a location. You are accountable for achieving budgeted revenue, while maintaining the operational and service standards prescribed by Biscuits & Bath. You must have a minimum of ten (10) years management experience, possess extraordinary customer service skills, be able to juggle a variety of responsibilities, while balancing competing deadlines, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail, be able to exercise a significant amount of discretion and independent judgment, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols, be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time.

This is the application process for the Dog Handler position.
To be considered for the Dog Handler role, please attend the Open House Interview of the location of your choice. We hold these interviews every week. If you are unable to attend an interview this week, you can go the following week.

Dress Code: The dress code for the interview is casual. Please wear clothes that you do not mind getting dog hair on as you will interact with the dogs in our facility. Please also keep in mind that this is an interview. While you may be casually dressed for the interview, your attire and conduct should be professional.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. We start promptly at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will be turned away!
