Handler Supervising and playing with groups of dogs; taking dogs for relief walks; transporting dogs to and from the B&B facility on foot; rotating dogs throughout the facility. Dog Care Supervisor Ensuring that all dogs are safe and healthy; administering medications; inspecting every dog every day; speaking with parents regularly regarding their dog; completing incident reports; temperament testing all potential members. Requirements: Passion for dogs; high level of energy; ability to focus to ensure that the dogs are safe; creativity so that the dogs are stimulated. The ability to work well with others and to have a keen attention to detail. Starting at $9/hr.  Dog Walker
Walking 1-3 dogs simultaneously on NYC sidewalks and parks; ensuring apartments are safe for dogs upon their return from a walk; leaving notes for parents on their dog's condition; entering numerous apartments. Starting at $9/hr. Requirements: Experience walking dogs in groups; availability on weekday afternoons; willingness to work on short notice. Driver Transporting dogs to and from Biscuits & Bath; making deliveries as needed; maintaining fleet of vehicles; resolving parking tickets. Starting at $11/hr. Requirements: Experience driving commercial vehicles in an urban environment; zero points on license; high degree of reliability. Applicants with a CDL highly preferred. Night Supervisor Overseeing the safety of all dogs staying overnight; preparing food for AM feedings; cleaning facility thoroughly. Starting at $8/hr. Requirements: High level of responsibility; very good judgment; handy-man experience.  Bather/Fluffer
Bathing, brushing and blow-drying dogs; clipping nails. Starting at $10/hr. (w/2+ yrs. experience). Requirements: Experience bathing dogs; willingness to take on extra shifts. Groomer Hair cutting, bathing, brushing and blow-drying dogs; clipping nails. Requirements: Must have grooming experience. Front Desk Supervisor Provide a high level of service to each parent and dog that utilizes any of Biscuits & Bath‘s wide array of services and to drive incremental sales. You will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks that are required to ensure that each dog entering our care has the best experience possible. This position requires a high-level of ongoing enthusiasm and a great commitment to the health, well-being and enjoyment of the dogs in our care. Starting at $11/hr. with the possibility of salary plus benefits for top performers after six months of employment. Requirements: This position requires a commitment for a minimum of six months with the expectation of a longer tenure. This position offer the possibility of a flexible schedule with anywhere from 20 to 40 hours per week. You will also be expected to work weekends and during holiday periods.  Customer Care
Provide a high level of care to each parent and dog that utilizes any of Biscuits & Bath‘s wide array of services and to drive incremental sales. You will be responsible for receiving and making phone calls in order to take reservations, handle customer inquiries and drive incremental sales for the business in a manner that ensures that each dog in our care has the best experience possible. Starting at $11/hr. with the possiblitiy of salary plus benefits for top performers after six months of employment. Requirements: This position requires a high-level of ongoing enthusiasm, significant attention to detail, and the ability to proactively solicit incremental business. This position requires a commitment for a minimum of one full year with the expectation of a longer tenure. The expectation is that this position will require a minimum of 45 to 50 hours per week on average, although you may be requested to work longer on occasion if needed. You will also be expected to work weekends and during holiday periods. Director of Operations Ensure the safety and well being of all of the dogs in our care. This person is responsible for monitoring and managing the movements of all of the dogs, managing the dog care staff (handlers and dog care supervisor) and communicating with parents and other responsible parties (guardians, veterinarians) in order to minimize the number of incidents that occur and ensure that all incidents occurring are handled in an expeditious and responsible manner so as to minimize the impact to the dog. This person will be expected to reduce the number of incidents occurring and the amount of money spent resolving disputes, increase the number of incidents reported and ensures that all information regarding the dogs is accurate and complete. Requirements: This is a full-time salaried position and requires a contractual commitment for a minimum of one full year. The expectation is that this position will require a minimum of 45 to 50 hours per week on average. You will be expected to work holidays and weekends.  Dog Trainers & Assistant Trainers
Become part of a talented team that teaches both dogs and people how to have a fun, rewarding, and respectful relationship. Dog Trainers should be able to lead group classes and/or teach private lessons. Opportunities are available for those skilled in puppy training, basic obedience, advanced obedience, and/or behavioral problem solving. Assistant Trainers can join our Teaching Trainers Apprenticeship Program with a minimum requirement of basic dog handling knowledge and excellent people skills. Requirements: The Dog Trainer position may be part-time or full-time with opportunities to teach group classes as well as private lessons. This position requires excellent people skills as well as a strong knowledge of dog behavior and how to resolve both common and challenging issues. Compensation is determined based on level of experience. The Assistant Trainer position is part-time. This job may lead to a Dog Trainer position and includes an opportunity to learn through hands-on experience in our Teaching Trainers Apprenticeship Program Adoption Coordinator Manage the adoption efforts for Biscuits & Bath across all six of our locations in New York. You will be responsible for rescuing dogs, screening potential parents, and matching dogs in need with loving homes. In addition, you will be responsible for building and managing a large foster and volunteer staff in order to ensure that the dogs receive the care they deserve and that all dogs that come to Biscuits & Bath are completely healthy and suitable for our off-leash environment. This exciting position allows the right person to save a significant number of lives while leveraging the full resources of Biscuits & Bath. Requirements: This position requires a commitment for a minimum of one full year with the expectation of tenure of at least five years. The expectation is that this position will require a minimum of 50 hours per week on average although performance will be judged based on the number of successful adoptions. This position requires working on weekends and holidays as per company policy. Assistant Manager Help run an individual Biscuits & Bath location as an autonomous business unit with responsibility for assisting in hiring decisions, staffing, customer care and significant input into compensation decisions. You will also be responsible for assisting all day-to-day operational issues and are expected to require minimal day-to-day supervision. You will be expected minimize the number of incidents that occur, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Requirements: This position requires a commitment for a minimum of one full year with the expectation of tenure of at least five years. The expectation is that this position will require a minimum of 50 hours per week on average as a physical presence on location is vital to success, although performance will be judged based on results. This position requires working on weekends and holidays as per company policy.  Location Manager
Run an individual Biscuits & Bath location as an autonomous business unit with full responsibility for hiring decisions, staffing, customer care and significant input into compensation decisions. You will also be responsible for all day-to-day operational issues and are expected to require minimal day-to-day supervision. You will be expected to minimize the number of incidents that occur, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Requirements: This position requires a commitment for a minimum of two full years with the expectation of tenure of at least five years. The expectation is that this position will require a minimum of 60 hours per week on average as a physical presence on location is vital to success, although performance will be judged based on results. This position requires working on weekends and holidays as per company policy. General Manager Manage and oversee the operations of all of the Biscuits & Bath locations in New York City. You will have operational and financial responsibility for each of our Doggy Gyms with the respective location Location Managers reporting to you. You are expected to require minimal supervision. You will be expected to implement and oversee processes and procedures that ensure that all of the dogs are healthy and safe, drive high levels of customer service, and grow the business in a responsible manner. Requirements: This position requires a commitment for a minimum of three years with the expectation of tenure of at least seven to ten years. The expectation is that this position will require a minimum of 60 hours per week on average although performance will be based on results. The successful candidate will have significant experience managing complex operations and growing a large business with little support and supervision. Significant management experience is required.
