"To all of our friends at Biscuits and Bath,
Today is Darcy's Adoption Day! It's been one year since my little pooch was offically mine, and I can't imagine how empty my life would be without her! Darcy is offically a "rescue dog" but it was she that rescued me.
However, as wonderful as she can be-let's face it...she has a few "issues!" Because of this, we cannot express how deeply appreciative we are for all the great folks at Bicuits and Bath! WE'D NEVER HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS WITHOUT YOU!! Your love, affection, patience, understanding, bravery, tolerance and all-around wonderfulness has allowed my junkyard dog to blossom into the spoiled, loveable housepet (well, loveable on most days!) we all have come to know.
So, for everyone who's ever withstood Darcy's growling to uncover the beautiful soul within;
For everyone who's ever thrown the Kong for hours on end;
For everyone who's ever been licked to death and gotten a big wiggle-butt hello;
For all of Darcy's friends;
For Eshia, Rob, Lynda, Diana, Shayla, Myles, Stephanie, Steven, Doug, Dolores, Ana, Jennifer, Teresa, Andre, PJ, and countless others at B&B Tribeca;
WE LOVE YOU ALL!! THANKS FOR MAKING OUR LIVES SO MUCH RICHER!"
Love, Keri Kilcommons and Darcy
"Thank you so much for taking wonderful care of Kyra, my beautiful Husky. From the picture you sent, it looks like she had a great time. Thank you,"

ODE TO "BISCUITS AND BATH"
by Woody Walsh
"It's time for a walk", my mom says to me,
So I go and hide under the chair.
I know what's up, all the sirens and stuff
That's waiting for me out there!
I finally give in to the harness and leash,
And hope there's no snow or rain.
This better be good, this walk in the "hood"
For the third time today - it's insane.
Oh sure, Central Park isn't too far away,
But all of those cars that we pass!
From 56th Street all the way to the park -
Don't cabs ever run out of gas?
I sniff at the hydrants - they all smell the same,
The sidewalks are littered with dirt,
A bicycle wheel is all that I feel
Is worth even giving a squirt.
At times there's a doggie that's friendly,
And sometimes a doggie that's gross,
The ducks are okay, but the squirrels run away,
And pigeons...I've come so close!
New York City is rather exhausting -
The noise, the people, the crowd.
These walks are okay, but I have to say,
I need a place that's not so loud!
Once in a while, my mom says, "Woody,
It's Biscuits and Bath today.
Want to see Jefferson, Wandy and Donald?"
That's all my mom has to say!
We jump in a taxi and my mom says,
"44th between 2nd and 3rd"...
Since I was a pup, I know what's up -
The best words that I've ever heard.
I know that when I go to Biscuits and Bath
It's more than a walk in the park -
I'm with all my friends, and the fun never ends.
I hardly have reason to bark.
There's always a doggie that's willing to play,
It's pretty much 24/7...
If one dog is tired, another one's wired -
Biscuits and Bath is like heaven.
They bathe me, they clip me, they know what I need,
My dinner is always on time,
If I happen to poop, they're willing to scoop
And never act like it's a crime.
I do miss my mom when she isn't around,
But sometimes she just needs a rest,
So when she's away and I'm needing to play,
Biscuits and Bath is the best!

When we rescued our precious Scheki, we hadn't realized the
challenges of life in the Big City with our new Metro doggie. My
husband and I work exhausting hours - we soon learned that Scheki
needed constant attention, exercise, and loving hands to
guide her through each day. The dog walkers were very disappointing.
We never really knew if and when she did "her business". But
most importantly, no matter who we hired, Scheki did not get
the exercise required for her health and state of mind.
We were lost, discouraged and felt helpless. I read book
after book and each author stated the importance of exercise.
The "Culture Clash written by Jean Donaldson states the following:
"Heavy socialization is the single smartest investment you can make in a dog.
You cannot overdo socialization. The payoff is enormous."
Biscuits and Bath to the rescue!! From day one, we have been so
totally thrilled with the results B+B has had on our Scheki and
on our lives. Each staff member is so dedicated and so involved.
The team continuously focuses on providing the most exceptional,
loving environment. We are so very grateful to our B+B family.
It is extremely comforting to know that our doggie is supervised every
minute of the day and additionally into the night when we have evening
commitments. B+B knows how to balance the appropriate amount of
exercise mixed with an afternoon siesta in the Lullaby Coral and we
definitely see the benefits when Scheki comes home!
B + B - Thank you a zillion times for providing such an amazing
home away from home for our Scheki. Your love, guidance, support,
and encouragement has helped us achieve our dreams - You have truly
become family to us - WE LOVE YOU!!!
Lori, Scheki, and Bob Schecter
"Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback. One other thing you should get a lot of is compliments. Your facility is fantastic and Scooby absolutely LOVES it. He can't wait to get there each time and as soon as we turn onto First Ave, he starts to pull on the leash to hurry up. He is all wiggles when he goes into the front door. Great job!! Thank you.
"Great job again and keep up the good work."
Susan and Rich Hempsell
I would like to give nothing but compliments to the dog walkers of Biscuits and Bath. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and leave the cutest little updates that a crazy dog mother like myself lives for.
"Thanks for everything!"

"Just wanted to thank everyone at the upper westside B&B for taking care of Candy on Friday. She had a blast and I felt so at ease with her being there. I'm sure she can't wait to come back. Again, thank you all, including your customer service girls who helped arrange for her to be there and who put me in contact with the facility to check up on her."
