Dr. Jen Trujillo - Veterinarian
Dr. Jen Trujillo grew up in Lansing, Michigan with cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, ferrets and guinea pigs. She attended Smith College in Massachusetts where she played soccer and rode for the equestrian team. During college she also worked with the local animal rescue fostering dogs and cats. After graduating college with a degree in chemistry she worked in drug development for GlaxoSmithKline in North Carolina. During this time she was the regional coordinator for the National Rat Terrier Rescue. She fostered many dogs and placed many other dogs in permanent, loving homes. After 4 years in the corporate world she decided to attend veterinary school at North Carolina State University where she graduated 3rd in her class. While in veterinary school Dr. Trujillo pursued her interests in research in the field of immunology looking at the biological mechanisms the regulate inflammation in animals.

Dr. Trujillo and her husband live in Manhattan with their Rat Terrier, Sassafras and their Scottish Fold Fitzgerald. When she is not at work Dr. Trujillo enjoys spending time with her family, running, cooking, and rock climbing.

Manuel Scope - Veterinary Technician
Manuel ("Manny") has over eight years of experience as a veterinary technician. For the past two years he has focused on emergency veterinary care and treatment at an emergency hospital. Manny attended LaGuardia Community College's Veterinary Technician program and is currently enrolled in classes at SUNY Orange, with a focus on animal care, in preperation for ultimately getting his DVM degree. As an aspiring veterinarian, he is currently studying so that he can one day attend Cornell University's Veterinary Science Program or London's Royal College. Manny received his undergraduate degreee from SUNY Kingsborough. Manny has a two year old Newfoundland named Thor.
